The main goal was twofold: bring more holiday foot traffic into the Awl Snap store and also shine a light on Richmond's amazing local creative community, especially women-owned small businesses.
Awl Snap teamed up with Ma’am Made, a local clothing brand with a similar customer base, and hosted a Holiday Market at the Awl Snap store. We brought in an incredible lineup of local, women-owned craft artists and created a super cozy, festive shopping experience.
To get the word out, we ran a series of Instagram stories, reels, and posts all week leading up to the event, spotlighting each artist. ​​​​​​​
Both Ma’am Made and Awl Snap sent out a series of emails to their respective subscriber lists, teasing an epic in-store raffle to drive excitement and attendance.
The turnout was amazing. 
When compared to the previous years holiday season, Awl Snap had an 22% increase in sales, a 64% increase in new customers added to the mailing list, and generated over $10,000 in sales for all the artists participating for the event.
